collagen migrografting for keratoconus

The additive Refractive Treatment procedure is complementary to regular ablative refractive cornea surgery and it was introduced from Appleye in 2014. It aims to regularize the cornea by selectively adding tissue to the cornea according to the established wavefront algorithm utilized in ablative surgery. It is designed to be applicable in irregular astigmatism like keratoconus where in general tissue is added only in the healthy part of the cornea. By definition it is designed as a minimal invasive and reversible procedure.
